Local Salt Spring Cedar Sheep Soap is now available! The ingredients are 90% from Salt Spring.

  • Sheep tallow from the local abattoir that I rendered
  • Cedar hydrosol I made at an essential oil workshop at beaver point hall on SSI.
  • Spring water I collected on a hike!
  • The lye I used to create the soponification process is from off-island making up the 10% not local.

Warning: it does smell sheepy- but won't stay on your skin. Good for hand soap for the people doing the 100 mile diet or those friends obsessed with buying local !

This is not a vegan soap, but ethically raised sheep.

The soap has a beautiful suds and animal tallow has always been an amazing cleansing agent. It's what has been used in soap through the ages!

It's a smaller soap than the others but same price for all the work and care that went into it. Thanks!
